Basic Linking

Once you have your Affiliate ID and Hyperlinks, you can start earning money as soon as the links are placed on your Web site. 

We will send you a set of Hyperlinks with your Affiliate ID that will allow you to link to the Online Storefront, Individual Categories and Individual Products. All you have to do is substitute the appropriate Category Code and Product Code in the appropriate hyperlink with your affiliate ID.

By telling us what Categories you want to feature on your Web site, we can send you your Category Links with appropriate Category Codes already built in. We will also send you appropriate banners. 

You are also free to create your own images and text links.

You can add more Categories and Products simply by adding the appropriate codes in the Category and Product hyperlinks.

Many affiliates just copy and paste the links into their Web site and start making money.

These are the most basic ways of linking to the WrestlingClassics.com Online Store.

Online Storefront Link

This is the simplest and one of our most popular linking methods, and you'll earn 10% of all sales through this link. You can go to our banners section to choose a graphic you want to use on your site. For the purposes of this demonstration, we're using this graphic:

Be sure to replace your_affiliate_id with the unique affiliate ID you will be assigned. You will receive an e-mail containing your unique Associates ID after you fill out the online registration. Also, for any graphic that you decide to use, you must remember to include its name in the HTML. Note that the name wcbanner468.gif has been inserted in the HTML so that the graphic will be called onto the Web page with the HTML.

Individual Category Link

Let's say you have a Web site that features Mid-Atlantic Wrestling. You can increase sales by tailoring your links to send your audience to a specific area of the store called a Category.

For example:

The Category Code for the Mid-Atlantic Section is MIDATL. 

A text link would like this: Click here to see some of the greatest moments in Mid-Atlantic Wrestling.

Here's an example of how it might look in your HTML document:

The Category Codes are easy to find. When you're in the Online Store and you are browsing an individual category, the Category Code will be the last letters at the end of the URL followed by the = sign. In this example, the category code here is MIDATL. 

You can create a link to any category simply by adding the proper Category Code to your Category hyperlink.

Linking to an individual product

Let's say you have a site that features women's wrestling and want to link to Classic Women's Matches or you have a site that has title history information and you want to link to the Wrestling Title Histories book. It works the same way as linking to a Category. All you will have to do is  take your unique product hyperlink and add the individual product code. The individual product code is found at the end of the hyperlink followed by the = sign.

For example:

The product code for Classic Women's Matches is SPEC01.

A text link would look like this: Click here to see some of the greatest women wrestlers of all time.
