NWA Southern Championship Wrestling's Super Bowl of Wrestling PPV comes to you from Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas with your hosts 'Magnum TA' Terry Allen and Jim Cornette.

Ray Gordy and Randy Orton vs. Mike Jackson and Tracey Smothers
-Gordy and Orton continue their winning ways when Gordy gets the pin on Jackson after a Piledriver. [7min. 12sec.]

King Kong Bundy w/ General Skandar Akbar vs. Mark Youngblood
-Youngblood puts up a good fight, but Bundy's size advantage gives him the edge as he gets the '5 count' after the Avalanche. [11min. 58sec.]

'The Russian Nightmare' Nikita Koloff w/ 'The Russian Bear' Ivan Koloff vs. 'Freight Train' Wade Chism
-Nikita has a few problems with Chism early, but overpowers him and gets the pin after a devestating Lariet. [5min. 35sec.]

Kamala the Ugandan Giant w/ General Skandar Akbar vs. 'The Raging Bull' Manny Fernandez
-This match turns into an all out war that the referee loses control of and ends up DQing both particapents. [8min. 53sec.]

Terry and Dory Funk, Jr. vs. 'Hacksaw' Butch Reed and 'Mr. USA' Tony Atlas w/ Jazz
-The Funk's cheat their way to victory when Terry slams Atlas in the head with his Branding Iron and Dory follows up with the Spinning Toehold to get the submission. [9min. 11sec.]

'Nature Boy' Ric Flair and 'Wildfire' Tommy Rich vs. 'Nature Boy' Buddy Landell and Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine
-Flair and Rich are on the receiving end of a lot of punishment early, but they make a comeback and have the heels on the run, until 'The King of Old School' Steve Corino shows up and runs Rich into the corner post head first, busting him wide open. Corino then tosses Rich into the ring, were he falls victim to a Valentine Elbowsmash for the pin. Landell, Valentine and Corino then take advantage of an outnumbered Flair and beat him bloody until Jimmy Valiant and Dusty Rhodes make the save. Tommy Rich must pack his bags and leave S.C.W. for 60 days. [13min. 29sec.]

Jerry 'The King' Lawler vs. 'The Boogie Woogie Man' Jimmy Valiant
-The rules are thrown out the window as these two brawl from the get go. It turns bloody quickly as both men are busted open. Lawler pulls a chain out of his tights and uses it to knock Valiant cold and get the pin after a wild match. [13min. 27sec.]

'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes and Barry Windham vs. 'The Prince of Darkness' Kevin Sullivan and Jake 'The Snake' Roberts
-Another wild, bloody brawl takes place with all four men in street clothes and cowboy boots. Windham finishes off Roberts with a running Bulldog Headlock for the pin. [13min.]

The Gangstaz [New Jack and Homicide] vs. The Samoan Gangstas [Samu and L.A. Smooth] w/ General Skandar Akbar
-A brutally hardcore match that goes back and forth is won by the champions as they successfully defend the belts when New Jack comes off the top rope with the 187 Chairsmash on L.A. Smooth to get the pin. [10min. 47sec.]

Rey Mesterio, Jr. vs. 'The Suicide Blonde' Chris Candido w/ Tammy Lynn Fytch
-Mesterio puts on another great show and overcomes Candido's illegal tactics and Tammy's interference to get the win when he reverses a Candido Blonde Bombshell Powerbomb from the top turnbuckle into a Hurracanrana for the pin. [13min. 58sec.]

Sabu w/ 'Playboy' Gary Hart vs. 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin
-Austin takes it to Sabu, who seems to be suffering from jet lag from traveling back and forth to Japan in recent weeks, and gets the pin after the Stone Cold Stunner to regain the Southern Heavyweight Title. [14min. 18sec.]

Keijo Muto aka The Great Muta w/ 'Playboy' Gary Hart vs. 'Dr. Death' Steve Williams
-Williams gives it his all in attempt to win the world title, but comes up a little short when Muto is counted out of the ring after missing a Moonsault off the ring apron and hitting the gaurd rail after a fantastic match. [14min. 32sec.]

Nice show.

Gordy & Orton seem on their way to gold.

Its nice to see Nikita Koloff make his return to the ring.

The Austin / Sabu feud is still one of my favorites.

I have to say, Rey Mesterio is the hardest working of the world champions, in my opinion. It seems like that guy is everywhere.

...which further concurs that Bart was right all along. - Wild Rover

Excellent show.

Gordy & Orton are probably one of the best up and coming tag team in the world

Good to see the Funks still going hard at it, and still winning.

Congrats to Stone Cold on regaining the title.

William getting a count out win over the NWA World Champ, in my opinion deserves another shot at Muta with no rules and no count out.

Once again excellent show.

Gordy and Orton should have a bright future.

Corino in with this group that is heavy with old school talent should be interesting. The possibilities are endless.

Mesterio has got to be one of the top pound for pound wrestlers in the NWA.

Congratulations to Steve Austin for regaining the Southern title.
