Lou Thesz vs. Nature Boy Buddy Rogers for the NWA World heavyweight championship - Chicago - June 6, 1951!
The Lou Thesz title defense against Nature Boy Buddy Rogers match is a treasure. Thesz and Rogers were two of the most important wrestlers in the United States from the mid-1940s into the 1960s, and this match is the only film that still exists of these two top stars in the ring together. This match at the Chicago International Amphitheater was the third in a series of televised matches between the two, and has to be considered a classic, since it showcases both men in their primes.

The match with Gene Kiniski shows silent highlights of a rematch where Lou was trying to regain the NWA title he lost to Kiniski.
