The greatest feud in the 70s was Jack Brisco and Dory Funk Jr. These two men met literally all over the world in NWA World heavyweight championship matches that are still revered to this day. They are the only two men to have two of their encounters be selected as match of the year. When you have Jack Brisco and Dory Funk Jr., you only need three matches to produce a classic video.

Feb. 8, 1972 - Thousands were turned away at St. Petersburg's Bay Front Convention Center to watch Dory Funk Jr. try to turn back the challenge of the undisputed number one contender. This match set a Southern attendance record that stood for years. Note: This is very good quality, but because of the condition of the master tape, it is not considered in the pristine quality Wrestling Classics is accustomed. The historical significance of this match prompted us to market it.

1973 - Jack Brisco has finally gained the World title but must defend it against a determined Dory Funk Jr. with Lou Thesz looking on as special referee.

Jan. 27, 1974 - In front of an enthralled Tokyo crowd, Jack Brisco defends the World title against Dory Funk Jr.
